About

Inspiration & Approach

I'm Kayci Itza, founder of The Quantum Mind Traveler. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years in the field, I spent my early career exploring various therapeutic approaches before discovering EMDR and, more recently, hypnosis. After witnessing how these modalities create remarkably faster and more profound shifts than talk therapy alone, I knew I had to focus my practice on these powerful tools for transformation.

My work is fueled by deep curiosity about consciousness, drawing from quantum science, neuroscience, Jungian depth psychology, somatic practices, and holistic healing traditions. I'm particularly inspired by Carl Jung's exploration of archetypes, the collective unconscious, shadow integration, and the wisdom embedded in symbols and dreams.

Central to my approach is the understanding that nervous system regulation directly influences neuroplasticity — our brain's ability to rewire itself. By creating coherence between your nervous system and your intentions, we generate internal harmony that accelerates transformation and shifts limiting beliefs into empowering ones.

I view emotions as essential information rather than obstacles to eliminate. Learning to interpret, validate, and work with emotional data creates profound opportunities for self-awareness and growth. While subjective reports often describe emotions in terms of energy or resonance — and emerging research explores biofield phenomena and coherence states — what we know scientifically is that emotions involve integrated patterns of neural, physiological, and experiential processes that provide critical guidance for navigating our inner and outer worlds.

The Mission

My mission is simple: to provide a safe, comfortable space for you to explore your inner world, unlock hidden aspects of self, and step into true freedom and self-sovereignty.

Philosophy & Science

Rigorous science explores rather than dismisses. Phenomena that fall outside current frameworks—including subjective experiences like altered states, spiritual moments, and the nature of consciousness itself—warrant careful investigation, even when mechanisms aren't fully understood. The distinction between 'unexplained' and 'nonexistent' is crucial for scientific advancement.

Hypnotherapy and EMDR facilitate change through several established mechanisms: they activate the parasympathetic nervous system (creating physiological safety), engage working memory processes that allow distressing memories to be reprocessed, and access implicit learning systems where core beliefs are stored. When your nervous system transitions from defensive states to states of safety and connection—what Polyvagal Theory describes as ventral vagal activation—the brain becomes more receptive to new learning and memory reconsolidation. This isn't conceptual work alone; it involves measurable changes in neural pathways, stress response patterns, and autonomic regulation. By facilitating states where your nervous system feels safe enough to process rather than defend, we create optimal conditions for adaptive neuroplastic change.

My Practice

In my practice, I specialize in EMDR and hypnotherapy because I've consistently observed their effectiveness in facilitating deep, lasting change. Both approaches access implicit learning systems—the belief structures and procedural memories that operate outside conscious awareness—allowing us to identify maladaptive patterns, reprocess difficult experiences, and create space for new, adaptive perspectives to develop. These are well-researched

therapeutic modalities that provide structured pathways to examining core beliefs and creating meaningful psychological change.

I'm passionate about supporting clients in creating intentional, sustainable transformation. Whether you're working to understand limiting patterns, heal from past experiences, or develop new capacities for growth, I'm here to provide evidence-based guidance for your journey toward greater well-being and alignment with your values.
